Lady Liberty is crying because we take things like freedom of religion and expression and use them to push other people down and treat them with disdain.  And well, to display crap like this.  It's just tacky.  A flock of plastic pink flamingoes on the church lawn would be less tacky.

I do like the strap on dildo idea though.  I might have to stop by that church if I'm ever in Memphis...

Noone here said that the persons building the statue shouldn't be allowed to build it, but we can critique and judge what they put up however much we like - which is itself freedom of speech and expression :-p
