Disposing of old computers

So someone gave my wife an old Apple II 'cause they thought I'd think it was cool.  What, they would'a gave me an old G4 'cept I think they suck? confused Anyway now I got this thing in the garage, which brings me to the question of what to do with it. What's the current wisdom of disposing of such things? I assume the landfill is a no no, but I really don't want to pay to throw it away. Maybe North Korea might want it for a missile guidance system...wink

Suggestions?

"What, they would'a gave me an old G4 'cept I think they suck?"

Am I reading this right: you could have gotten a MAC G4 but you or they think they suck? I would have been pretty happy with an old G4 (which doesn't suck).

Based on the findings of the report, my conclusion was that this idea was not a practical deterrent for reasons which at this moment must be all too obvious.
