Re: Too Damn Hot
I got up at 5am this morning and stepped outside to see how it was.
It was 95 :goth:

He met some interesting people during normal hours, too. There was the military recruiter who told him he had what it takes.
I looked at Bartels. Long hair, scruffy college-kid beard, slender build. Pleasant, laid-back demeanor. I had to know. What does it take?
So many jokes, so little time.

Re: Too Damn Hot
Last night the heat broke. I went to my regular Monday night jazz gig and it was 101° F, while we were playing it dropped down to around 75° and the wind picked up dramatically. During our second set it started raining HARD, so I put down my guitar and stood out in the street for a few minutes. It felt great! I got soaked!
Right now it's only 69° F, and it's not supposed to get much past the 80's for the rest of the week.
My plants were very happy to get rain, too.
Grandfatherly advice: You can drink 'em pretty, but you can't drink 'em smart.

Someone made a movie with a similar theme. I think it was based on a real-life story of a pregnant woman abandoned at an out-of-town Wal-Mart by her boyfriend.

Yeah, that's it. I started watching it because it starred Natalie Portman....it interests me that she was able to survive the transition from child actor to adult. I don't lust for her like some of the younger guys do....
Aw, he's no fun, he fell right over.
Unless you become as little children, there's no way you will believe this crap.
