rtcw on intel iMac
hey guys,
I just got a new intel iMac and I'm wondering what the best way is to get rtcw. I've been out of commision for long enough and I'm trying to get it going. I've thought about downloading boot camp and getting XP so that I can run the windows version, (I've heard that the mac version doesn't run very well through rosetta) but I'm wondering if there's a cheaper/easier route.
Thanks.

I'd just get the Mac version - I tried enemy territory on a MacBook, which is a much lesser gaming computer than your iMac, and it ran beautifully.

Re: rtcw on intel iMac
yea, RTCW is a pretty weak sauce game when it comes to computing power. running under rosetta shouldn't be a problem. On the other hand, if you have a spare copy of windows lying around, by all means use it since it will run even better.
Just don't go out and buy windows to run a game like this.
