Airport Question
Hello All,
I have been using an airport card in my powerbook g4 along with my d-link wireless router (DI-614+). It is also hooked up to my iMac through an ethernet cable. Everything was working well yesterday and today but tonight the airport isn't seeing my router! I turned the card on and then off again as well as restarted; what do you think this could be? Should I unplug the power from the D-Link and then plug it back in again or would that erase all of my saved internet info like MAC address, IP configuration and what not? Thank you all in advance!

Re: Airport Question
I frequently unplug my cable modem, so I dont think it will cause trouble. Don't know if this is true for routers, but I hope this helps.

Re: Airport Question
Try resetting the router. Ther e should be a button on the back marked reset. Depending on the router model, you might have to hold down the reset button. For example, my router FREQUENTLY causes problems, so I hold down the reset button for 15 seconds, the lights blink, and I'm back in business.

Re: Airport Question
Just load the setup page, and reboot it if you can, I think its under tools. This will only work if you have a working Airport or Ethernet to reset it with.
