Re: running mac in India: some qsns
1. Call Apple in India and ask http://www.asia.apple.com/macbookpro/specs.html The India site for Apple MacBooks doesn't show the voltage.
MacBook accessories ? Probably a case. Some people buy an extra battery. Some people find the MacBook is hot so they need some protection if they place the MacBook on their lap.
2. Yes. Do not know
3. Sometimes. These sites have the most info on software downloads.
www.macupdate.com
www.versiontracker.com
www.apple.com/support/downloads/
4. Overall, consumer level Mac software and the operating system are pretty friendly. Most people who switch from Windows become quite comfortable with the basics of OS X and the main apps in a few weeks or less.
5. Yes.
6. Yes in the past. Currently, I believe the answer is "no", but do not worry. OS X (the browser Safari and the image program Preview) can read PDF files. Adobe Reader for Mac is a free download
