I know I had some more posts than the thousand I have now before the big crash a few years(?) ago. Ehm I was just going to check how many there are that are over 10000 when I noticed that there are a lot of member with no posts at all. Whats with that?

January 2007.  Mac|Life's debut issue is February.

Mac magazines are a dying breed in general.  With that in mind, I hope that MacAddict/MacLife will continue to hang in there.  Without these guys, the world will most certainly end!

I've been a MacAddict since I picked up the first issue and have NEVER missed an issue, even when I was in Russia for two years and now that I'm back in Ukraine. One of the reasons I kept with MacAddict over the other Mac mags was that not only did it give priceless Mac information/reviews/news, but it had a wide streak of humor which was sadly lacking in all the other mags, and of course the PC rags. Now some "suits" have decided that a name change is in order, and to Mac\Life?! No doubt after focus testing! Probably Max will be next to be killed! This a bland, uninspiring, and just plain BORING name! What are you pushing? PCs?! Where's the rough edge? Where's the brotherhood in Mac\Life? NONE! I'm a MacAddict and I had a magazine that said so. Will I stay with your magazine? We'll see. But if you're going "main-stream" then I might as well go with that "other" Mac mag. At least they're proud enough to keep their name! NUFF SAID.

I have to say, MacAddict is a much better name than Mac|Life.  But even though you're changing the name, I think you should keep the mac mouse as the dot for the "i".  It would liven Mac|Life up a little.

Yeah.  It would make it look slightly less bland and more like the 'ol MacAddict.

Damn Marketing. It wont be for Mac addicts any more, it will be for windows switchers. Who wanted an Apple because it said both Apple and Intel on it.
