How what? There was a tip in Macaddict awhile back that described the Unix commands to edit the config file for faster mousing speeds, maybe someone else can remember what issue.

...in which case you'd go to the Universal Access control panel and increase the size.
At least, that's where it is in 10.4.

In 10.4 it's so easy to increase the size of the mouse pointer by going to the universal access preference pain. That must have been one of improvements over 10.3/
Any freebe programmes that can do that ?

Does anyone else wish that the bigger mouse pointer was smooth, rather than pixelated? I want a monster pointer (
) and I want it gorgeous, goddamnit!

(Finishing the remainder of the thought expressed in the post has been left as an exercise for the reader.)

It depends on WHY you want to make the pointer larger. If it's due to "losing" it from time to time, then I'd reccomend getting Mouselocater http://www.2point5fish.com/ . Does the job for me.

WHY: It's too small for these old eyz.
I've got Mouselocater and it's great but it only kicks in when the mouse has been inacative which is helpful also.

You didn't notice a VALUABLE feature. If you hit <CTRL-Space> then it will show the locater also. Or just go into System Preferences and change it to any F key.
