'World of Warcraft Expansion Not Ready for Holiday Launch'
WoW players around the world simultaneously groan as they hear the news
Blizzard Entertainment's most popular game, World of Warcraft, will not have an expansion for the Christmas season, the company recently announced. Gamers will have to wait until sometime in January to pick up a copy of World of Wacraft: The Burning Crusade. Earlier in October, Blizzard began beta testing the expansion with the help from thousands of closed beta testers. The extra few weeks should allow game developers to further polish the game before releasing it. The expansion offers players two new playable races, new battle locations, enemies and items, and new professions. Gamers will also be able to reach a maximum level of 70.
By adding a few extra weeks to the development cycle beyond its original target date, Blizzard will be able to extend the closed beta test and further refine the new content that will ship with the game,” the company said in an official press release.

Nah, that forum is community related stuff. Besides, it isn't like we didn't know it was going to be delayed until very late december or january sometime. The beta still isn't testing 68-70 content.

Meh, I'll just hold out 'till Ghost ships.

You may need to hold out until you are a ghost.

That's a long time to hold off playing WoW. 'Course, it will leave you with more free time...
...to play Starcraft 2, which should be out before Ghost.

I think this is a good thing. Getting sucked back in the week before finals is the last thing most college students need...
Starcraft 2 is necessary to prevent the ending of all life in California by my hand. It WILL come.

Well, in my case, it was going to launch the week after my finals.
