Re: Post Pics of Your Set-Up

I really should clean my desk again and make it look as good as the pic.

I was standing when I took the pic.

Yeah, I like to switch up the leg positions a lot while working. I can move the box around with my feet to suit various leg setups.

2 Burners in external enclosure to right of iMac
Generic AMD Thunderbird 900 MHz 384 of Ram 18.6 GB HD Windows 2000 Pro

Re: Post Pics of Your Set-Up

I've basically got half of a garage to myself, so I just live in one big room. - I'm also just out of college, and without much furniture. So it's a pretty spartan living arrangement for the moment. All pics can be clicked for larger versions, but WHY anyone would want to enlarge my mess I wouldn't know. tongue

http://www.smilr.net/pics/sm/setupSM.jpg

Speakers / Dell 2007fpw monitor / Newton MP2100 on the bed

Powermac G4 (Yikes! model - the original one based on the B/W G3 motherboard)
500mhz NewerTech g4 upgrade / 640mb / OC'ed processor and gpu to 110%
(must leave the case open, or it overheats :-/

Gaming PC
P4 3 Ghz / 1 gig / stock speeds

http://www.smilr.net/pics/sm/serverSM.jpg

Linux server (in the former fruit box)
AMD Duron 1ghz / 384mb / seems to do fine without any "case" fans. Will one day get it's own real PC case. Shown here with the cover off.

http://www.smilr.net/pics/sm/chairSM.jpg

My chair / wrt54g (yay for wifi next to one's head!) / apple keyboard with lengthened cable made from spare Cat-5 / Trackball (really glad I have that - as without a desk, using a mouse would be impossible)
