I believe he asked that his posts be deleted from the archives as well. Was it to thwart literary detection?

He can ask all he wants to have stuff deleted, it's not going to happen. "Because I'm quitting this place" isn't a reason to screw with the old threads by removing posts.

You would think that a competent programer could write a script to go through and just click the delete tag in all of his posts.
It's a paradox of how sharply dull I am.

The ability is there now, simple matter.
You would end up looking like a gibbering idiot though talking to yourself if the posts you were replying to vanished.

Agreed, I don't think that it would be good for the rest of the board if CP would have written such a script. It was more a dig at his claims to be a great programer. Anyway, this is offtopic and skirting around verboten topics, so I'll stop.

Re: Is he or isn't he?
I'm only here for one reason, two actually...
1. Merlin Mercat is not me, admins can check my IP compared to his, ain't happening.
2. I still got people here that keep me informed if my name is thrown around... and I'm not going to let someone take flack for my posts... or for sounding like me, I personally think you owe him an apology. Again, that ain't happening, I know, but so be it.
And Farmerkev, most people here are gibirishing idiots anyway, liberal gibirishing idots, but idiots non the less, the fact you would remove my posts wouldn't make that any different.
Oh, and I will only come back in cases like this otherwise, I am gone for good, adios... I have bigger fish to fry than the people on this forum.

Sorry slick, even us lowly mods have all the ips in front of our beady little eyes including history and cross reference with all others users from said IP. Add in mods that check the IP of all new posters and you have nice try, better luck next time. We did keep it to ourselves until the regulars figured it out though, thank us for that at least.

I've just gotta say this whole paragraph rocks. First off, you've got people? Can they talk to other people's people? Also, I'll admit that saying "you sound like that crazy guy cyberpawz" is an insult, but I didn't know that you knew it. Perhaps I should get my people to tell me these things.

I could bore you with a philosophical tirade about freedom and tyranny, or try and explain to you what new horizons are suddenly open to me, but I doubt you would understand and if you did it might frighten you. That amuses me.
