Rogue Leatherworking

My rogue, Sinuous, is about ready to choose which leatherworking specialization he picks up.  Which would you suggest and why?

Re: Rogue Leatherworking

I picked tribal just because you don't have to farm elementals and has some nice stuff.

Re: Rogue Leatherworking

Tribal has the benefit of needed MC things from Thorium brotherhood and the ever popular hide of the wild. Elemental has some decent things later on, but for the real money I'd say nag's right and go with tribal.

Re: Rogue Leatherworking

Well $$$ wise, Dragon seems to make more but friend of mine told me he didn't like it cause you need to really farm mats hard cause some of them require a ton of scales to make.

I went Tribal myself because of the Devilsaur items and some other nice ones. Hide of the Wild is nice but it takes a ton of mats to build. That one AQ you got to come on of ours, you were with me farming Acid off the larva. Thats just one part of the mats. The Devilsaur items generally do so-so now on the AH. More ppl playing have lowered prices. It does take time farming the skins for it since you have to hunt Devilsaur in Un Goro and learn all the paths that they take.

Elemental is alright. You can make the Stormshroud set and the first FR gear for MC but I didn't think there was much else in it. Stormshroud is big on crit but not stats. There really is better gear than that for Rogues. Found more rogues wanting Devilsaur to complement their T0 set than I did Stormshroud.

Re: Rogue Leatherworking

Devilsaur is much much much better than the Stormshroud gear... but with the ease of which pvp armor is obtainable now, you may see a drop off in crafted armor entirely here =/

Re: Rogue Leatherworking

Yeah friend of mine already got his GM dagger in only a week. I was all for this pvp change till I saw how easy it was to get the GM gear. Really Blizz should have made it harder.
