Add-ons/UI-modifications...
Where do I find them. I've seen screenshots both here and at Blizzard that show some awesome changes to the UI so where do I find such mods/add-ons?
Now, where in the name of... did I put that thing that I forgot what it was and why I was looking for it?

There are several sources, see below. However now is a bad time to be asking for add-ons. The recent patch broke most if not all add-ons. You'll have to wait for them to be updated.

If you're looking for UI mods I highly recomment the MirageUI (formerly the Insomniax Recompilation). It's working just fine with TBC since most everything was in place since 2.0's patch. The forums are pretty supportive if you do run into issues...

Re: Add-ons/UI-modifications...
Though I haven't actually tried any mod yet, what I primarily was looking for was something that could show me the amount of cash a character has without having to open up the bag. I found one such add-on but it hasn't been updated since the last wow update so it doesn't work. I'll check all these adresses out though, thanks.

Titan panel comes with a money plug-in that does just that

Plus Titan will have a negative impact on your game performance to boot!
FuBar is a viable alternative with less of a performance hit in my experience.

Titan's foot print is minimal if you know how to increase memory and aren't running too much.
I run titan and get a solid 60 FPS 99.9% of the time.

Just a note: ctmod has been updated less and less over time.

Re: Add-ons/UI-modifications...
I've noticed a few strange things since I installed Titan. First of all the clock above the map now only shows 12 hours instead of 24. I also got a message that something I was trying to do wasn't supported by the Titan gui why it had to restart... or something. All I was doing was reinforcing some clothing on my hunter with +8 armor. Other than that it works nice but I still hope that Simplegold is updated soon.

Re: Add-ons/UI-modifications...
Titan panel as a UI Mod itself has a large memory footprint compared to the similar addon mentioned above, that uses Ace2 liberaries: FuBar. As a general rule of thumb, Ace2 addons will be lower memory, and cpu usage than larger, self contained addons and liberaries.
I switched recently and it helped memory usage significantly. Every titan addon that you find useful, is redone for FuBar as well, so it makes switching easy.

Re: Add-ons/UI-modifications...
...It was the StanceMod in Titan that didn't work with my upgrade of the armor. Since I don't see any use for that part of Titan I've now disabled it and all works well.
