Halo Wars?

I didn't hear about this one until just today.
A role playing game? AWESOME!!! I have always wanted to strategize the attacks on the covenant. I am the type that is always trying to save the lives of my marines. This game sounds great!

Amazing Trailer

Re: Halo Wars?

Once again, I stand with my theory that the game will consist of mostly the humans losing if it is to fit into the lore of the the Halo Universe™.

Re: Halo Wars?

Once again? smile... no, no, that's not how games work- too unfun for one of the players. You can have local victories that have little effect on the overall course of the war, or you can have it be mostly Marine & Spartan ground actions- Halo lore holds that, altho humans were more than able to hold their own on the ground (esp. Spartans), it was Covenant naval superiority that was responsible for the relentless loss of territory and worlds. Or both, or some further variations.

I'm confident Ensemble, with their track record, can make this work out.

Z, have you been under a rock the last few months? Try visiting Games once in a while. tongue And you do realize, Halo Wars is for XBox 360?

Then I suggest celebrating the holidays... try poking some fun, skipping a few stones or even snarfing some Gruntleberry dressing.
