word censors
Hey, I unknowingly filter dodged using my pet word 'smurf', and it showed up even with the word censors on. Might wanna do something about that one

I think the censors should simple put up symbols like ------- for words, rather than things like "boo boo."
You're not actually censoring anything.
As another poster pointed out, people are going to use foul language freely, and when others can know which word they use because each foul word has a different "baby talk" equivalent, you're defeating the entire point of filters.
Also, since people can turn off the "filtering," it's even more silly.
there's really no need for all of this

Yes, exactly! The word censors are for making swearers look like dorks so that shy people get braver and post more!
