Actually the news gave that acronym to the Canadian Conservative Reform Alliance after unofficially adding Party to the name. the CCRA later changed their name to the Canadian Alliance because the press wouldn't drop it.

On Friends there was a financial bit that Joey would always refer to as the WENIS.
Since MacAddict tends to be the caliber of Friends in content in comparison to the other two large circulation Mac magazines, I figured they would've picked up on this tidbit.

I just want to join the chorus of those lamenting the name change. I came to MAF because of Clan MacAddict ([MA]), and I will always consider MAF my "home" on the internet. I guess the old saying "you can't go home again" stands true in this case.
I'll miss the MAF, and I hope the Mac|Life transition goes OK. For professional reasons, I haven't been terribly active here lately, but I look forward to the relaunch, and I'm crossing my fingers for some great things to come.

Dude, I have random people at work coming up to me with computer problems, and I'm not one of the IT guys there. People come up to me saying "I hear you're a Mac guy. How do I do this..." and I send them away much happier with their Macs. One guy is even brining in his new iMac today for me to show him how to use it to maximum effect.
Stop considering myself a Mac addict? Pah!
