hey, I guess we didn't lose our postcounts after all

yaaaaaay.

I'm not negative, I'm just crotchity that my precious MacAddict forum is gone and is now MacLife.

Man, I'm a M|LF member now.

Now, who was it who started 'documenting' their post count?

On the plus side, the fixed width content happens to nearly fit my preferred window size (which is not my full screen size), so I don't have the annoying wasted space along the right side.

That would be SmooveSmoke.    I of course can't compare them now, but this seems even brighter than I remember most of the other themes being.  Perhaps it's the combination of white and bright blue? 

As for the <Inverse> keypress, yes, I suppose that could work except that, 1) I am currently at the Units on an NT laptop, and 2) that would inverse the whole UI, so the formerly dark content (like, say, the other forums I visit) would then be bright.

Thread title, yes, and width. If I increase the font size even just one time, it looks dreadful. I haven't looked at it on my lower res TiBook, but I already suspect it ain't gonna be pretty.

Still waiting for my first M|LF issue, but one complaint I had with the MacAddict mag was the itty bitty type on the editorial page.
The gray typeface doesn't bother me too much here, but I have been to many sites where the gray is too light to make reading it comfortable.

The blue is too bright.  As I type a reply, I notice that "write your message and submit" is a darker blue, but that's the only place. The cyan on the black at the bottom is headachy. Cyan on gray further down is even worse.

Also there is a black block across the top of the page - is there no ad there yet?

Not only is MaxAttack gone, so is the User List!!!

I meant the 525 page alphabetical list by the way.
