Ok, how many of you are sick?
I'm curious because it seems like everyone i know is sick this year, and right about now. I've been somewhat sick since about Xmas, but it really hit a few days before New Years. It's all sore throat, sneezing and congestion. Luckily, no fever. The last few days have been the worst.
I went to work last night and felt really guilty about being there, but they didn't send me home. Probably because about half the people there were already sick. I hope this passes, or at least gets a lot better before i go back to work Saturday.
I wish the days of me never getting sick would come back.

Yep, I got sick yesterday. Right in the middle of a nice day, it hit me.

I'm fine. Whenever I feel a cold coming on (it happened at least twice in the past month), I try to get something to eat and/or take a hot shower as soon as I can to boost my immune system.

I've had the same symptoms since the 30th. I could tell that my body was fighting something off, then I made the mistake of taking my delicate SoCal lungs into a Nebraska winter and shovel snow after the big storm. I knew as soon as I walked into the house with burning lungs hat I was doomed. Today is the first day I've felt human since then. I think I picked up the bug at Cabela's on the 27th. That was the only time we really went out amongst strangers.

I was generally sick from September to November. I go from icky sick to kind of sick back to icky sick (rinse lather repeat). I got sick of it and got some antibiotics from my doctor.
That was the first time in about 10 years since I had taken antibiotics.
Now, I haven't been sick.

I was really sick from Dec. 28 to Jan. 1. Sore throat, fever, sinuses full, couldn't breathe.
I had to sleep sitting in my recliner for three nights, 'cause if I laied down I couldn't breathe.
(Funny thing about air, untill you can't get it, you don't know how much you miss it!)
Feeling fine now, thanks for asking. Still a little tired.
I would post a rant about the BS they put you thru at the drug store just to buy a pack of cold pills, but I'm too lazy to.

The drug store wasn't even an option, since I was snowed in, so I pawed through my parent's medicine cabinet in desperation:
The Advil cold & sinus was welcome, but insufficient, so I dug some more: past the Mercurochrome and Cepocal, scored a jar of mentholatum, and an aerosol can of Chloraseptic, determined to be of a 1985 vintage. I had some really weird dreams that night.

I was sick over Christmas, but it still hasn't completely gone away. On the 26th I sounded like a cross between Screech from Saved by the Bell and that tall hoarse guy from Scooby Doo. All but two people at work were sick during the same time period.

Aaron is still sick, but he's getting better. I had a flu jab this year, and I have a feeling that saved me from the misery.

My housemate works in daycare, so I encounter deadly viruses on a daily basis.
Aw, he's no fun, he fell right over.
Unless you become as little children, there's no way you will believe this crap.

I had bronchitis all last week, with a fever to boot. I haven't been that sick in ages.
And then my girlfriend got sick around the same time with the flu.

i have been sick for a week now.
as sick as i felt for years.
haven't gotten over it yet.
yeah...
quite a few people i know are ill as well.
