Re: Microsoft Takes Email back 5 years
I find if some dipswitch sends HTML to a text mail client it tends to display as code and ofttimes in inline images (like one might use to clarify directions) tend to get converted to attachments. The former can make things hard to read. The latter can make things more difficult to interpret.
Conversely great care must be used in crafting an email which contains HTML for someone else to copy use if they have HTML mail client. else it might decide to display the results rather than the source.

Very much so.

So, you all are BEGGING for plain text email.
Sounds like Apple will now implement HTML-based email, which will be nicely designed, and knock your socks off fairly easily.

I'm not begging for plain text personally but I say implement a choice mechanism for those who'd prefer it and be honest with the advantages and drawbacks of each choice.
