Both are still operable.

Seriously, how much work did you get done with the 128k?
Based on the findings of the report, my conclusion was that this idea was not a practical deterrent for reasons which at this moment must be all too obvious.

It made for quite a capable sequencing platform for its time.

My dad used to bring his work computer home on holidays so my brother and I could play games on it. It was a Mac SE/30, and we sure had some good times w/ that one. The first one my family actually owned was a IIci. Good ol' 68030

PowerBook Duo 230, when I was 3. (Dead now. I few years ago I got it to play the funeral march, but no more than that...)
Lasted me until iMac DV SE, when I was 11. (In storage, planned for reuse.)
Currently using a PowerBook G4 17" since when I was 13. (And through years of mistreatment is beginning to come apart.)

Why??!!
Ubuntu is a great desktop OS, especially when faced with being forced to use it against Windows, but it lacks both the complete customizability of other linux distros, such as Gentoo, and lacks the complete usability of something like OS X. And its not like there's that much you can run in Debian that you can't run in OS X by use of Fink. So please, indulge me.

Gentlemen, at this time I cannot recall my first Mac.

Re: What was your first Mac???
My first real Mac was an LCIII (1992), but before that I was using an Atari Stacy fitted with a Mac emulator that could only run up to System 6.

Ah, very hard. It took me about a month. Good thing I have my "backup" 17" iMac Core 2 Duo (I upgraded that using the instructions in March MacLife). But It was fun!

Re: What was your first Mac???
My first computer that ran Mac OS was a Radius 8100.
My first Mac was a 7500 I bought for $89, added an ATI Rage Pro card, a Sonnet 400 MHz G4 upgrade card, a Firewire/USB card and a 9Gb SCSI hard drive.
Just waiting to be included in one of Apple's target markets

Heh. My first hard drive, which connected to my Mac Plus, was a 40 MB drive, and it was bigger than any law school book I've encountered. And almost as heavy!
