Free Transfers
Anyone have any idea on how the current free tansfers are qued?
I have transfered a total of 8 (40's - 60's) characters from two accounts this morning, Feathermoon to the Skyers.
Six were almost instant, really, about 5 minutes, 1 took a little over an hour the last, still waiting for the move.
It does not appear to be alphabetical, level, class or race, basically there appears to be no rhyme or reason to it.
No biggie, just interested.
Last night I had a two and a half hour q for Feathermoon @ 2100hrs EST.
Funny thing was, I decided to roll a new toon on a different server, to take a looksie, and was "Recommend Feathermoon".
zug, zug.

Last toon transfered @ 1420hrs EST.
Painless process, all items associated with the toons transfered. No problems.

It tends to recomend servers you already have characters on.

this was useless to me, most of my friends who still play are on PvP servers and I'm on pve

ConnertheCat, I did not know that, but it makes sense.
MacZiMiZer, I have friends in similar situations, I'm not sure I understand why Blizz will not allow those transfers. Same as why they will not allow US to EU transfers, vice versa. Data is data as a server is a server.

They feel it's easier to level and get gear playing pve, so it would create a disadvantage for the people leveling straight up on the pvp server

People whined a bitched about it, they felt that it would mean all their "hard work" would be for nothing if PVE carebears were allowed to level to 60 unhindered and then transfer to a PVP server and grief the lowbies.
Load of bullsmurf.
That being said, I definitely think Blizzard could release PVP servers that were designated PVE transfer servers, and that everyone could transfer to them.

Yes, I wouldn't mind seeing more people on Dalyengyver (In a month or two). Right now I like the peaceful levelling, and there's still enough quest mobs to go around.
But apart from Dalvengyr and Black Dragonflight (the two PVE->PVP transfer servers), Blizzard could also make new servers with a disclaimer that people from ALL servers could transfer to them.
