Boot Camp on a 24" iMac

Hi all, I just bought a new 24" iMac and I would like to install Windows XP Pro using Apples Boot Camp. I have read that a lot of people are having problems with the 24" iMac and Boot Camp!
Has anyone installed Boot Camp on a new 24" iMac?

Just be sure to back up your data beforehand so you can do a wipe and reinstall if it doesn't pan out.

It is an odd thing, but every one who disappears is said to be seen at San Francisco. It must be a delightful city, and possess all the attractions of the next world.

Re: Boot Camp on a 24" iMac

Remember it is a beta program at the moment so yes it can be buggy . . .

If it is anything like my MacBook, I had to stop the the Apple Driver install, in XP, at a point that allowed me access to the "temp" installer files so that I could install them manual. After some digging I got XP booting and functioning very stable. Then the Parallels beta rendered me unable to boot back into the "Boot Camp" environment.

So yes take precautions with betas.
