Mac & PC servers
does anyone know if the servers for halo are dedicated by platform or are they universal.....the sever list on my PC is usually between 600 - 700 at a time...and the mac list is barely 50. I've adjusted the filters accordingly to no avail. Any ideas??

Re: Mac & PC servers
Been a long time since thinking about this, but...
Halo PC uses a Gamespy front end. The two can play together, tho. We always use direct IP connection. Also, there is no dedicated server app for Mac Halo.
MA3 runs an early Athlon64 on XP. No complaints from our Mac-only members.

Re: Mac & PC servers
However, if you're using a PowerPC Mac, do not update to the UB. It's worse than unnecessary.

Re: Mac & PC servers
I always could find quite a few servers on my Mac just like my PC. But the problem I saw the most was making sure it was patched. If you don't have the latest patches then all you only see is a handful of servers.
