wireless card?
I have a powerbook, 17" 1.33, a few yrs old.
I am looking for a wireless card so that I will have access to the net anywhere I travel.
Cingular, which I use for cell coverage, says that they have nothing that will work and theres nothing they can do.
A friend told me he heard Verizon has a card that, although not technically for a Mac, still works when its plugged into a mac.
I called Verizon and they say that the Kyocera 650 will work for a mac. The cost is 80 dollars a month since I dont have service with them.
Has anyone had any experience with a wireless card?
PS. Do you know if a new macbook pro with intel will use a pc wireless card while running with the pc/windows application?

It is an odd thing, but every one who disappears is said to be seen at San Francisco. It must be a delightful city, and possess all the attractions of the next world.

Re: wireless card?
When running Windows, the MacBook will be like any other Intel laptop running Windows, so there should be zero issues.
