Holy Priests were fine!
I guess we were over powered, given the latest NERF. *Removes his only tBC spell from his spell bar*
Jesus christ, when is this class ever going to catch a break.
Remember all, we're tough cookies!

Re: Holy Priests were fine!
The cooldown didn't go through to the live PTR. And as far as it being a OMG HUGE NERF. It sucks that it will now have a CD, but I'm going to agree with my guild master (and he's consequently the best priest I've played with) It's not going to change healing, all its doing is making you do more than PoM, and Renew your party in a 5 man.
I've healed everything so far but Shattered Halls at 68, as Shadow, and instant cast PoM basically does all the work for me. It's pretty retarded good atm. I could see giving it a 5-10 second CD, but in my opinion 20 seconds is a bit excessive. However considering it didn't even go live into the PTR, we'll see what Blizzard does!
...and to quote my GM, " I'm still overpowered, all those whiny priests just need to learn to play, and not rely on 1 spell to do everything. Ala Flash heal nerf anyone?"

Yeah, at the moment the ptr server doesn't give pom a cooldown but the client says it has one. So either bliz hot fixed the servers to remove it or we have another case of the left hand not knowing what the right hand is doing.
Oh, conner, I'm continuing my rule to delete all out of context quotes you post. Just to let you know. Oh, and being a jerk isn't necessary.

Re: Holy Priests were fine!
There are a lot of changes without updating tooltips, to go with those changed tooltips without updated abilities.
Commanding shout, for example, is giving more HP than the tooltip states, and improved battleshout is affecting it, also with no note in the tooltip.

Re: Holy Priests were fine!
You misunderstand. The tooltip you get when you roll over the spell on your bar has been changed to 20 second cooldown when nothing has changed. Prayer of mending doesn't have a cooldown currently and doesn't on the ptr despite what the tooltip says.

Re: Holy Priests were fine!
I understand, I'm saying the opposite problem exists as well.
My point is there is a lot of incorrect tooltips currently on the PTR, whether they are tooltips in line with supposed changes that aren't actually there, or outdated tooltips for abilities that have changed (and weren't noted).
Its an all around sloppy PTR, so hopefully this one stays on test for a decent amount of time.

Re: Holy Priests were fine!
ProM was the only way I could survive being ganked. A cooldown will not hurt my ability to heal in instances (I usually only start the fight with one unless there is a AoE mob). I'm just annoyed that my one defense against getting jumped out in the world is now worthless.
