Was my avatar unvoluntarily changed?
This is odd...
A couple of weeks ago, I changed my avatar to a small square frame of Carl from the movie poster for Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie Film for Theaters.
It was the same until today, when I came to the forums, and I noticed it's back to my old UHF avatar.
What gives? I didn't change it back. Could someone please explain?

Odd... Seems our very own Admin Miles had an avatar revert as well; his is a Santa hat so it seems to have jumped back a couple months...
Mine is unchanged.
Odd indeed.

Yeah it was probably some sort of server glitch.

It also keeps doing it. I upload a new one, it's there for about 15-20 minutes then reverts back.

Testing.
Untouched.
When did you change from the Christmas to your previous current, CtC?

Spirit was crushed; now is fading, But I want to help make things right.
Because I can see and I can feel, and you can see and you can feel
So why don't we both either stand up and fight
Or at least together we'll call it a night.

Re: Was my avatar unvoluntarily changed?
It went Christmas to Veer for in like the first week of Jan, then Veer to Colbert in late Feb.
I've made two changes since the Holidays.

Are you deleting the old one first?

Re: Was my avatar unvoluntarily changed?
It seemed to coincide with macaddict to maclife transformation? Maybe a server migration glitch?

Re: Was my avatar unvoluntarily changed?
I'll have our engineers look into this -- thanks for the heads-up.

Re: Was my avatar unvoluntarily changed?
It could have something to do with the file extension: it looks like those of us who are affected have multiple avatars uploaded in different formats, and PunBB is preferring the GIF version.

That makes a bit of sense. when a filename is identical except the extension, .gif is alphabetically before .jpg or .png.

I believe all should be well as of today -- let me know if it isn't.
