Farstriders
There's a bunch of enlightened gamers that use Macs on Farstriders servers. We're in a guild called Heaven and Earth (http://heaven.tricerealm.com/). They have just defeated Prince Malchezaar.
They use Ventrillo and have mac support there.
If you are on that server, I have a level 63 dreneai shaman (Ventura), 64 druid (Kerwindre), 64 rogue (Bigglesworth), and a 63 hunter (Anathiel).

Your other comments make it sound like you lost interest in the game.

Re: Farstriders
Well. I do have some issues with Blizzard, not so much the game. I dislike how they handle compromised accounts (several friends lost their accounts) by declaring the victims hackers.
I also don't like much of the game is obsoleted, it's makes it harder for new comers to rise in level, and the game sort of starts at level 70 these days.
But nevertheless, I still play. My main is not 69 and a half (http://armory.worldofwarcraft.com/#char … ;n=Ventura). I'm starting quests to get attuned to Karazhan, and I have more than enough funds for my first flying mount. A few in the guild have epic flying mounts, and as a guild, we completed Karazhan and are looking forward to Gruul.

Re: Farstriders
Good luck, lot of folks I know are sick of Kara now. Just an instance of 1000 respawns and 10k non crit hits. Gruuls also seems to be down quite often still and the other 25 mans are just insane attunements.
I'm with ya on the obsoleted bit, I don't like it either. My issues with Blizz stem around their increasingly bad updates and lack of supplying content which should have been in TBC come launch day. Might want to consider what i'm doing, switching to LOTRO...course you'd need a PC or bootcamp for that...but then again unless you got a MacPro with 1900XT I doubt those paperweight 1600s will do much on that.

Re: Farstriders
Well yeah I heard the beta sucked early on. Heck right now its not super yet but some of the planned additions are looking nice.

Re: Farstriders
I wish companies wouldn't put out a product that's going to great down the road. I'd rather
wait the extra time for a good product. I understand the economics of it and all, but why
put out a sub par game with promises for down the road. I haven't heard anything great
about LOTROL yet, really.

Re: Farstriders
It has been getting some good reviews so far. Its a shame they don't have a 10 day trial thing right now. Would like to try it on that type of a basis. I got plenty of time to do that since 90% of the time I log onto WoW I just log off in 2 mins. Rare for me now to find something to do on WoW

Re: Farstriders
A lot of people are talking of Warhammer. I'm not sure, I mean the appeal is nice, but then in general the life consumption, and not using a Macintosh isn't of interest.
For Wow game, I agree that the long attunement quest chains is non-exciting big time, especially on low population servers where it is difficult to get groups at all.
Despite this, our guild is doing nominally well, average against high-pop servers, but top guild in progression as far as Farstriders server goes.
