This 100,000,000 is 1 million short of estimates by financial estimates. The sky is falling UP.

Re: 100,000,000...
According to a single questionable article I've found on the subject, Microsoft has sold about 29,000 Zunes as of January. Kinda sad as they're supposedly sold in roughly 30,000 stores.

Lame joke about his lame joke.
300 is about 300 Spartans who fought to the death to defend a position from a vastly superior force and whose heroic deaths gave their people the time to gather forces at a key position to defeat their opposition. 250 is my fake movie name about 250 Texans who fought to the death to defend a position from a vastly superior force and whose heroic deaths gave their people the time to gather forces at a key position to defeat their opposition.

Man, that's sad. Between MS's odd Zune marketing and technical glitches at roll-out, and Apple's annoucement of the iPhone shortly after the Zune came out, basically blowing anything available on the Zune out of the water, the Zune really got stuck between a rock and hard place.
"But MS is in it for the long-haul and will still represent a worthy competitor to Apple over time" - yeah right.

Hmm.. I've bought 2 iPods and no Zunes. I foresee future iPod purchases and still no Zune purchases.
I'm either a fanboy or a hater... or the Zune sucks.

If you've never gleened over this thread at MacRumors, you really should It was some of the original "fall-out" when the iPod was first announced.
It's a failure! It'll never sell! Blah Blah Blah!

it sounds like a lot of the things people are saying now about the appletv...good idea but needs refining and more features, price point too high, there are other things that can do this better, etc.

That was great! My favorite post:
$400 for an Mp3 Player!
I'd call it the Cube 2.0 as it wont sell, and be killed off in a short time...and it's not really functional.
Uuhh Steve, can I have a PDA now?
Really does sound like the AppleTV.
