Passing spanish II? No really though its photography.

I have a lot of interest for product design but as it's the thing I do, it's not a passion.

I like Comic Books very much, and even considered going into that when I was younger. Especially Europeans like Mœbius, Manara, Hugo Pratt, Franquin, etc in the oldschool, Lewis Trondheim, Johan Sfar, Boilet, others in the newschool. Japanese like Katsuhiro Otomo, Osamu Tezuka, the superflat mouvement, others..

In animation, the japanese are obviously in the front of the modern scene, and I particularly appreciate work from studio Gainax and Satoshi Kon in the big names.

Airplanes fascinate me.

Technology is fascinating
Computers
Robotics

Pretty girls.

In the music field, after having been through french punk, 60's rock, hard-tech french rap, Electro for a long while, it has been electroclash/electropunk the last years.

...A long list.

I guess Comics (graphic novel as Eisner put it) / Animation are very close to the top.
It must be a bit sad never being passionate...

That's a tough question.  I do all kinds of things on my Mac, but sometimes I feel like I am just tinkering with no real mission behind it.  This gets kind of frustrating, so I will occassionally bring home audio files to edit for work or do writing projects.  It's hard for me to get in the audio groove on my Mac though, as I have yet to use an audio app that really handles my needs in an ideal way.  There are tons of nice apps out there, I just haven't found the one that replaces Audition for me.

As it is, I use iTunes the most, followed closely by iPhoto.  I am also thrilled with having the ability to get back into video work again.  I have been playing with a Canon Mini DV camera and iMovie.  I must admit that, while fun, I wish I had a little more power than I can get from iMovie and iDVD, so I may upgrade to Final Cut Express.  I do some gaming, but nothing hardcore.

I also enjoy working with the *nix side of OS X.  I'm not a master at all, but I find the learning process very rewarding.  Hacking is something I like to dabble with, and I find OS X to be an awesome platform for it. 

My iMac is also my Windows box, and I find it provides great performance and has been a solid learning platform for me to hone my Windows skills.  I would like to get some certifications, and my iMac has been great for tha.

Back to the topic at hand, I use my Mac for everything a computer can possibly be used for.  Mostly I like the UI.  I like the fact that I can do all my unix stuff in the worlds greatest UI - it's literally the best of both worlds.  Sure there's some things Linux does better, and Windows is certainly better for games, but OS X wins for almost everything I do.  The apps are icing on the cake, but I simply can't ignore them.  The iApps are second to none.  iMovie/iDVD are my favorites.  Mail does exactly what it's name suggests without any fluff.  Keynote is worlds better than PowerPoint, and PhotoShop just somehow works better on a Mac.  AppleScript is amazing, and Xcode is superb and, far more importantly, completely free!

There's plenty more, but that's a good place to start.

Not to derail the thread but, what kind of bikes do you have?  I have been riding since I was five and have a real love for off road motorcycling.  I also am into classic cars, though, so I recently divested myself of a couple of dirt bikes to help support my Charger restoration project.  I'm down to one XR600...it's heavy, but totally bulletproof.

Since you are a new rider, you'll want to gain some more experience before you do this, but once you are proficient you need to make at least one trip to Moab, UT.  It is one of the most incredible experiences you will ever have on a motorcycle.

Great bikes!  I am really interested in your Triumph.  I would love to land a Norton Commando or Triumph Bonneville.  Gas prices are getting outrageous, and I was thinking about picking up a bike for the daily commute, but I love vintage machines.  How do you like your Triumph?  I know they have good power but have heard that they can be a little less than reliable.  How many miles can you get on a tank?  If I could save a little more on my daily drive, it's more money for my Charger

Nothing to do with the Mac passion, but going beyond Macs my passions are the outdoors, backpacking, mountain biking and motorcycling.
