My whole thought process moved toward the Mac when I was speaking with the Adobe sales guy last week.
I upgraded my current software to the new CS3 with this guy. I then asked him about changing platforms sometime in the future. He said that Adobe's policy is to charge only for the latest version (upgrade price) plus the shipping. Since I will have the latest CS3 versions soon, if I wanted in switch to the Mac in, say 6 months, it would only cost me the shipping.
I thought that sounded pretty sweet. Thus my quest for Mac information.
On another note: I live in the Phoenix area. Can any AZ Mac users point me to a reputible Mac dealer in the area? I am having a problem just speaking to an Apple rep at the Apple store in the Biltmore. I think that they do not have enough people working there. Can never get through.

I would call 1-800-MY-APPLE and ask them some questions. Then ask the same questions here along with the answers you've received.
Have you more or less decided on a particular piece of Mac hardware ?

Thanks for the phone number. I will call next week.
No I haven't decided yet. Don't know enough yet. At first glance I would look at the iMac 20" or 24" but I just have too many questions.
