Re: would you buy a 100% wireless Mac?
Actually, yes. On one contidion. The OS should not be made to freak out when the external wireless HD's suddenly disappear from the network. The connecting and disconnecting should be automatic based on Bonjour and shouldn't require me to connect manually or put up with a message box saying I've disconnected from the drive if I happen to go too far from the base.
I'd prefer this technology in a laptop. In that the drives come and go automatically without yelling at me that I might have broken my disc because I disconnected it improperly. I have a lot of files, but I don't plan on really needing them with me at all times. So if I could have them somewhere else but have them automatically show up when I enter the base area. (Does the new Airport Extreme do this yet? Or is it still "You have disconnected improperly you dumbass!")

Just my 2¢

What did you take offense to in my post?
A: me not wanting wireless HDs and Displays
or
B: The harmful effects of radio waves?
if you choose A: It's my opinion.. it's not a "gay" response... There are certain things that I don't care if the loose temporary connection due to radio interference. If my mouse glitches too bad... If my HD or CD glitches I loose data and possibly damage the drive.
If you choose B: I would suggest YOU actually researching radio waves and what they can do to a body instead of telling others to.

The receiver turns radio waves into DC electricity, recharging the device's battery at a distance of up to 3 feet.
3 feet?!? My Mac's power cord is like 6 feet.
THE RADIO WAVES change their frequency as they bounce off objects and walls.
No, they don't.

It would be really cool if they could up the level of juice a bit and put it along roadways and such. Might make electric cars viable...
It is an odd thing, but every one who disappears is said to be seen at San Francisco. It must be a delightful city, and possess all the attractions of the next world.

You're right that it's your choice to use those technologies, but you're wrong about their implementation. Wireless HDs are practically already around (like the AppleTV for example). Wireless USB is already available, and there are companies working on wireless displays. These things are literally no more than a year or 2 away from the mainstream.
Any problem you think you can think of probably already has a solution.

Re: would you buy a 100% wireless Mac?
Heinlein warned us about this in Waldo. See http://www.technovelgy.com/ct/content.asp?Bnum=22 for technologies from that story. From the linked article: "The part of the Heinlein story that fascinates me is the character who links increased obesity and sedentary natures in children with an increase in radiation in the environment. He wears a lead-lined suit and lives in a lead-lined house, and finds that he is healthier than his peers." See? This will make people fat and lazy. Er...wait a minute.
