Forums crash Firefox...anyone else?
Been happening on all my comps. Mac/PC. Its not common but it does happen about 10% of the time I stop in here. Usually when I hit 'return/enter' to make a new paragraph the program just freezes up then quits and asks if I want to restore previous session. So far its only happening on the forums, never anywhere else. Anyone else notice this?
Oh Firefox version is 2.0.0.3.

Re: Forums crash Firefox...anyone else?
Hasn't happened here.
However, the forums have been doing weird things to the fonts lately. If I can find a picture, Ill post it. At first I thought my screen was going wacky, but a refresh gets rid of it. Still quite annoying.

No problems here, as well -- and managing editor Susie (who frequents the Forums more than I do) reports that she's had no problems either.

Re: Forums crash Firefox...anyone else?
Same here: no particular MacLife Forum problems with any version of Firefox 2.0.0.x.
NightCougar_37: you might list the Firefox extensions you are using: perhaps one of them is the problem, or there may be an incompatibility with some odd combination.

Sure it wasn't one of the crazy ads we've been getting here occasionally?

Re: Forums crash Firefox...anyone else?
Haven't noticed it for awhile now so maybe something changed and its fixed. I might just use another browser if it comes back anyways. FF is really seeming bloated and slow as it's revision increases.

Re: Forums crash Firefox...anyone else?
I have found some Flash ads will crash or hang FF. There is a way around that.
