Trying out InCrease

So, in case anybody didn't know, after my tenth WU F@H went kaput.

So, in an act of desperation, I am now trying InCrease.

So far, so good.

Re: Trying out InCrease

If you get another dropped WU, we'll (mac)nuke your install and put it a new one.

Involves terminal command to blast your crontab.

Re: Trying out InCrease

I think i will stick to InCrease, because, come to think about it, the WU were always dropped when I ran an App that needed a lot of RAM.

Re: Trying out InCrease

RAM shouldn't have anything to do with dropping work units. You have the same liabilities with InCrease as well. The first thing you should when this happens is delete everything in the "work" folder. If the problem persists, try deleting the cores (the files in your folding directory with the exe extension). The cores will then be re-downloaded as well.

Re: Trying out InCrease

InCrease makes it easier to pause F@H, and 512mb is not enough for when i want to do things like try out the LEGO starwars, Longhorn reloaded in VMware, etc.
