Combining DVDs for school Film Festival compilation

Hello,

I have a stack of DVDs from my high school film festival, and each one has a single short movie on it, about 5-10 minutes each.

I am going to combine them into a compilation to give to the filmmakers and other students.

The total combined footage is 80 minutes.  Is there a way to compile the streams into DVD studio Pro so they don't have to be re-encoded, or is my best bet to rip them all to a mpeg since the bitrates may have to be lowered to fit on one 4.7 gb disc.

thanks!
