True story, happened to a roommate of mine who was dating a screamer. They get the point after that.
I know 2 couple who had that happen and I think with that we have returned to ball gags.

Re: Neighbor girl and her boyfriend
Heh, I have the same problem, only my neighbor only has sex once every couple of months. So, I try to be nice. But damn, when he gets it, he goes all out.
At those times I've considered finding the most obnoxious and distracting songs and blaring them right up against the wall. But like Tallgeese, I'd feel bad about doing that to him because I wouldn't want it to happen to me. So I just plug in the 'phones. And with the exception of the bed slamming against the wall, I don't notice a thing!
Alright, now, who wants to be transistorized?

Re: Neighbor girl and her boyfriend
Eh... How about putting on some headphones and just letting it go? If she screams that loud then I'm sure one day mom will hear and then it will be their problem...
Or just go outside and scream, STFU! and run back inside... that way noone knows it was you who said anything, but she knows she can be heard...
But if she continues, then thats when you can confront her or her mom about it...

Re: Neighbor girl and her boyfriend
I had a girlfriend that was a screamer. The people in the adjacent apartment just screamed too, but we didnt care. in fact I think she loved the fact that others could hear.
Perhaps your neighbor wants you to hear. Who knows, could lead you to some 3 way action.

You mean "letting go" like singing along loud and out of tune?

Re: Neighbor girl and her boyfriend
If you decide to speak to any of the involved parties I recommend approaching the boyfriend first. Men can sometimes discuss these things "man to man" and reach a manly understanding. Mothers and Little Princesses can be sensitive about Little Princesses' reputations and virtue. If you talk to either the daughter or the mother and they get defensive you could end up answering a voyeurism/stalking/harrassment complaint:
"Officer, I do declare he told me he eavesdropped on me and my boyfriend in the budoir!!! Then he cornered me in the parking lot and tormented me with terrible lies and innuendos. I feel so violated and scared to leave the house" and so on.
Or,
"Officer, he chased me down and bragged about how he eavesdropped on my daughter and then he told the most scandalous lies about her!!! I've never been so mortified and afraid in my entire life, I do declare!!! Mercy me, I think I may faint." and so on.
It pretty much boils down to "He said, She said" if things get that far. It isn't a risk I'd take, given the potential downside - registered sex offender status, a criminal record for stalking and/or harassment, looking for a new place to live because restraining orders place your current residence inside the restricted zone, etc. But I've been screwed over by some very talented people in my time so I may be a slightly over-cautious in this sort of matter. I will say this though; It really gets bad when the Officer is Officer Daddy or Officer Boyfriend. I'm glad I only had to watch that one happen to someone else.

Re: Neighbor girl and her boyfriend
I fail to see what's wrong with having loud sex on the living room floor.
Jealous?
Noise is noise, though. Some of the suggestions in this thread should take care of it nicely. Long ago, we lived in an apt where the couple upstairs was rather loud. Before my husband could go talk to them about it he knocked on our door and said, "I was on my patio cleaning my gun. Did I drop anything down there?"
He never talked to the guy again. They had a massively loud breakup and she left soon thereafter.

A recording of the noise (mind you, I'm not advocating the use of eavesdropping devices, just turning on some sort of recorder in your living area) would turn that into a "he said, she moaned, and loudly" type of thing.
As long as you're not invading their privacy, but are documenting their invasion of yours you'll be okay.

Play AC/DC's Squealer really really loud during the act.

I think it's insane that if somebody is playing music too loud, then it's a given you vilify them, but if it's loud sex, you just ignore it.
Screw that. If your lease, like mine, has language in it prohibiting noise which distracts or "inhibits quality of life for other tenants" then call the landlord, then call the cops when they don't enforce.

I agree, but I would change the order of action.
Call the cops first. Then write a short descriptive letter to the landlord. Keep a copy.

You should always talk to the tenant (or her mom first), unless they're hostile and you feel threatened. Jumping ahead with calling the landlord and/or cops first is just going to create those hostile feelings. Give them the benefit of the doubt and talk to them first. If you call the cops first, you will never have a decent relationship with those tenants, and more than likely the cops will ask you when they come out if you tried talking to them first.

I think the mom took care of it lol. Last time it happened, I had just got home, and the mom pulled up right next to me in the parking area. We both walked to our units and heard the noise! LOL!!! Mom looked really embarrassed as I kind of chuckled a little and said "have fun." All I heard was yelling.

Re: Neighbor girl and her boyfriend
I have also been having this problem.
This girl screams her smurfing head off. I'm of the opinion that both of them have watched too much porn and think this is somehow required. Either way, it's rude. The really like doing it on Sunday morning, and I'm quite certain small children at the pool can hear them.
What does a couple that has loud sex also do loudly? Fight. These two were screaming AT each other the other night, slamming doors, pounding on walls, etc. etc. etc. Then they were outside their apartment screaming. Then the cops showed up.
They were having sex again the next day.
