The general size rule for posting images is 500x500. It appears the forums are resizing images to fit the format, when it does that, they become distorted. If they look especially bad, any one of us mods might turn your image into a link. This can all be avoided by making the image no larger than 500x500.

Keep in mind this does not apply to sig images. Those are still 500x100 max.
