Just out of curiosity...
Why was the "Speak lolcat" thread closed?
It wasn't the most entertaining thread I've seen, but I didn't see anything wrong with it.
I'm not trying to defend it, just wondering what the problem is?

I don't think it was overly critical, nor overly snarky. A little snarky, I suppose, but not overly so. Regardless, it's not just here, I post this way at the other place too (I presume that's unsaid part of the question). I'll even provide links to a recent thread where matt was victim to my pedantic* prose.
If you'd rather that I be sincere and transparent with my thoughts on this war on caps, I'll be happy to oblige, but I don't have a lot of nice things to say about it.

Nah, I was mostly commenting on how all your posts on this forum seem to be one drive by complaint or another. Kind of pointless in my opinion.

It's probably because I'm conflicted between caring about this place and not wanting to interfere with the people who are now running it.
It's very unfortunate that it's indeed kind of pointless.
