1) Some sort of heroic death. Dying to save the lives of others. (but still hoping that I die of old age in my sleep)

2) Entering a situation where I knew I'd die but I'd be saving lives.

I want to die fighting.

If suicide I would want to be hung from a tree and stabbed through with a spear.  Not sure if it's still suicide if you have assistance though.

If It were to be an accident that I had no control over (not willingly dying), it would have to be
- Screaming down a mountian somewhere in Europe at 95+kmh and slamming into a wall, or just going over the side because my brakes would have been somehow damaged or something like that, or it was in a storm.

- Dying in a helicopter crash.


Otherwise...

1) Hurtling toward the ground in a plane riddled with holes from a air-to-air gunfight.
2) Hand to hand combat against insurmountable odds
3) Good ol' Swordfight

What can I say, the need to die in battle is in my blood.

That would be the way to go. Slowly increase the dosage. You eventually just stop breathing.

That's how doctors get around euthanasia laws. It's called making the patient "comfortable".

You'd be better off taking as massive a dose as possible without any prior dosage. Increasing dosage allows for the possibility of accommodation; you might reduce the chance of killing yourself and increase the chance of going into convulsions (generally more of a problem with weaker opiates, like codeine, but still a problem with anything short of heroin) while still semi-conscious and semi-caring.

As I fall, I land on the MacMonkey button. MacMonkey comes out of the back of the monitor with a crowbar, clobbers the last guy, and gets back in his spot.(A la' trunk monkey)

Smothered in molten lava in a cavern in Mount Doom while finally grasping the One Ring.

How do I want to die? Preferably doctor assisted suicide when I'm already on the way out due to odl age / terminal disease.

As for a plain straight up suicide before my time? I don't like pain - so it would have to be quick / painless. Preferably exposure to vacuum - unconscious in 15 seconds, dead in 180.
