Re: The End of an Era

I agree. My PM8500 with 200mhz 604e has served me well. As my first mac was a quadra 750 with a bw monitor, it still worked great. God I love macs.

Re: The End of an Era

There was no such thing as a Quadra 750. Was it a 700 or a 650?

Re: The End of an Era

Yes it is a 700. Just this box thing with only a floppy drive and internal hd. The cd is an external 1x affair. I could not rember the exact model number because I sold it. However I will admit that 7.6 was very spunky on it. It was maxed to like 64 or 72mb's of ram and a 4gb hd. I loved the little guy. But I got my 8500 with and upgraded cpu and couldn't go back.

Now I am jonesing for some 68040 lovin. time to check e-bay. big_smile
