Impulse buying

What's the last thing you impulse bought?

I bought Disturbia today. Paid more than i wanted to for a movie i've already seen. I was planning on getting it, but i wasn't planning on paying what i did.

Re: Impulse buying

I bought a torquoise pendant on a braided leather chain recently, entirely on impulse.   I wasn't even shopping for jewelry, just saw it and thought, "SOLD!"

Re: Impulse buying

So I was at Spencer's (and I should end this post right here right now). After walking around and laughing and wincing and disapproving of things, I stepped up the register and happily payed my $8... for a Resident Evil 4 poster. This wouldn't be too bad, it's a great game, but it features a villain and his chainsaw going at the protagonist's neck.

I regretted the decision minutes later, and should've returned it, but I still have it.

New Airport Extreme Base Station - worth every penny btw, especially considering I have a 250gb usb hard drive connected. When Leopard come out with Time Machine, it will be even better.

The new AEBS is sick. Awesome reception!

Re: Impulse buying

Oh, and while I was at the Apple Store to purchase the AEBS, I also impulsively picked up the Kensington Si670m Bluetooth mouse. Its the best basic mouse I've ever used! Extremely comfortable and just the right size. Its a bargain at $49.00. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v317/wellfleation/41ikkguqQhL._AA280_.jpg

Re: Impulse buying

I probably should be glad there isn't an Apple Store in my town.

My last impulse purchase was a hard drive and combo so I can fix my iBook myself. I changed my mind and canceled the order - it was $270 and I can get Apple to refurb the whole thing with a warranty for $400 - worth the $130 difference in price.

Although I'm still wondering if I should just go ahead and pony up the extra $500 for a new MacBook instead.

Mine was a MBP just before I left on vacation to replace my TiBook. I called ahead to reserve the last one they had, and drove 2 hours to pick it up. I could have saved more if I waited until I got back, but I don't regret it.

Impulse bought a XBox 360 about two weeks ago.

Okay, I was waiting for price drops, but still, I didn't give it too much thought.

It is kick ass. I don't care who you are, at the very least there'll be something about it that you'll enjoy, or a character that you'll like.

A climbing harness, rock climbing shoes, a locking caribiner with and ATC, chalk and a chalk bag. Admittedly, it was sold as a kit. Oh, and I've been climbing once. But I did pass the skills test, so I thought, why not!

An issue of Paste. I was going to borrow my friend's, but then just went ahead and bought my own when I saw it was only five bucks.
