I'm about to PSU wiring, then I can "push the button, Max!" and do OS & software.

Well if the heat tapers off maybe i'll host up a weekend server for a few hours one of these weekends coming up. Think I can swing at least a 6 on 6 or so. Used to host that for Recon and it worked fine for everyone but the 56kers.

Not if i'm on the other team . I know all zee hiding spots.

Oh i'll try to throw in some of the 3rd party maps we used to play but bots n such will be stock unless you'd like some classic MAer names added. I did have issues hosting over LAN recently with that blasted DE file. Didn't really have it installed, it was in my cache. Which pack update had that sucker again?

If you have to, type /preferences in the console then go into the graphics settings direct. Sometimes you can set the options better so it keeps the fps in sync.

Wonder if I can pick up a PeeCee copy at an Ollie's Discount store or something...

But sure. Altho UT probably runs fine on Vista already, "they" will surely spend mucho dinero & dev time to bring it to OSX and make no money thereby... because they wuv you.

Nothing current, AFAIK. If there were, NC could just suggest an event. I s'pose you could check the old [MA] site and poke around.

MA3 was running UT2004 as well as Halo, but a few days ago Levi let me know it's down pending new DSL connections. He's checking on the status of that, but for now, it's down.

If he wanted, I suppose he could throw UT '99 on it, and H2V ded server for all of that, unless bandwidth is lacking on the new setup. We're not likely to get more than two different games running at once.

(And maybe it's heretical, but there are things I miss more than the Ripper. Fun enough, but on maps like Face I chucked it as soon as I could get sumfin better.

...not that I won't enjoy taking NC's head clean off. ).
