Poll: What colour Lightsaber?
Well? we all say that our colour choices reflect who we are, what about our Lightsaber colours?
and remember, this is in the realm of our colours, not Lucas colours (Green, Red, Blue, and Purple)

Well Lucas has said that there are really only three colors.
Red for the bad guys, and then green and blue for the good guys.
Mace Windu's purple lightsaber is a product of Sam Jackson asking for a purple one. heh.

White. Being severely colorblind I prefer the grayscale world to avoid confusion.
It really sucks in a galactic battle. I mean, how am I supposed to know the enemy?
You know, there should be another option, 'infrared'... not very stimulating visually (for human eyes, at least), but I'll bet it would win a lot of battles. You'd never see it coming.... probably figure the crazy bastard forgot to turn his saber on.
Most people don't realize that large pieces of coral, which have been painted brown and attached to the skull by common wood screws, can make a child look like a deer.

I was disappointed when Episode II came out. It was Lucas was saying "every single book you ever read where someone had a blade coloured something other than red, blue or green is wrong."
Why is Windu the only one who gets a unique colour? Why are people with red lightsabers evil? It makes no sense at all, even if you limit the choice to one of 4 colours.

That and the fact in one of the books Leia gets a red saber.
Of course, Lucas has no problem contradicting the books. Episode I threw out everything you ever knew about 3PO's origin, and II did the same for Boba Fett.
Regardless, I'm perfectly prepared to accept lightsabers in colors other then those shown, given that the choice of jewel determines the color. The sabers at the end of II seemed to me to be more mass produced then personally built, given the way there just happened to be extras to toss to Anakin and Obi-Wan.
Oh, and I'd also go for the silver one. Silver's just plain cool. Although I'm not at all picky, I'd be glad to take any color one of you could find,

Mace Windu is up there on the same err... Jedi level as Yoda, so he should be able to get whatever he wants.

Lucas's vision for what goes on on screen doesn't seem to have anything to do with Star Wars anymore. As far as I'm concerned, the original movies and the first three Zahn books are all that count.
Oh, and I think I'm a blue lightsaber kind of guy: a trusty original.
