Um, I'm not the one who got the new folding forum up and running. I'm not employed by MacAddict. I'm not an admin. Hell, I'm not even a moderator. I'm just a lowly user who created "The Benefits of Folding!" because I wanted to make recruiting new members easier. All I did was restart this thread on the new forums.

Just setting the record straight. smile

I know skeeball, but someone had to get the benefits back up so people knew what we were all about. i was just commenting on the fact that you took the iniative to get it back up so people knew what the heck Folding@home was. That's all.

Re: Old Sticky in the early days

Which is more accurate???

1) this: http://folding.stanford.edu/cgi-bin/searchteamstats

2) or this: http://folding.stanford.edu/cgi-bin/tea … ailed?q=18

I'm assuming the second one, the team detailed one but I don't know for sure.

Re: Old Sticky in the early days

Standford's team search or the Standford's stats page for our team?

I'm assuming it's the second one (the one specific to our team) but I don't know for sure.

confused Are they not equally accurate? They're both from Standford's servers, after all.

They should be.  The Stanford is more up to date though?  Right?

If everything goes well I'll have a G4 DP 800 mhz running folding soon... I'm trying to buy it for about $1300, and now I'm hoping the seller will agree  big_smile

Re: Old Sticky in the early days

Where exactly can I get the software to do this? I am unable to find that information, which is what I need most of all, on this board.

Welcome to the team. smile

You are now helping to save lives and increase awareness of the Macintosh. Great choice!

For others who ar having trouble finding the software, you can get it from Stanford's "Participate (Download)" page.

Re: Old Sticky in the early days

Maybe someone can make the forum link on http://macaddict4life.tjprevite.org link to this new forum instead of the old (dead) macaddict forums...

Re: Old Sticky in the early days

Would someone please make the forum link on the team website link to this new forum instead of the old one (which is now dead)?

Thank you for pointing this out. Although I am an editor of the team website, there are certain things that only Tony Previte can change. Changing the forum link is one of those things. I have sent him a private message about this and hope that he will get around to fixing it (he is probably very busy right now).

Welcome.
