There's a good chunk of the world that still hasn't bought a Mac for various reasons despite their love of iOS devices, but Apple is taking steps to make sure they remain connected to their Apple files regardless of which machines they're forced to use. Today, the Cupertino company sent out invitations to members of AppleSeed to try out the beta iCloud for Windows, which includes access to iCloud Drive.

The essentially spotless reputation of Apple's widely used iCloud service was dealt a serious blow this weekend when word emerged that several celebrities discovered that private photos of themselves had made their way onto the Internet at large. Word emerged yesterday via NBC News that Apple is working closely with the FBI to investigate the leaks, but this morning the Cupertino company claimed the leaks weren't really iCloud's fault. Instead, it was the fault of weak passwords.
The MacBook Air has really come into its own with later revisions and price cuts, which is why, despite being an amazing computer, it’s mildly disappointing that the mid-2014 model is a very minor refresh, with just two significant changes. The processors are a mere 0.1GHz faster: now 1.4GHz dual-core Intel Core i5 CPUs are used throughout the range, replacing the 1.3GHz chips inside the mid-2013 models.

Well, we're entering the home stretch of the last few weeks before the release of the iPhone 6. Have the spate or articles and leaks and so on dampened enthusiasm or stoked it? With only a few days left before Apple's big iPhone event, the tech world is expecting great things from Apple. Wall Street, too, is caught up in all the excitement generated by rumors and leaked parts, and today the fervor pushed the Cupertino company's to its all-time high.
We've heard endless stories about leaked parts for the iPhone 6 over the last couple of weeks, but the Feld & Volk team in Russia apparently took these leaks to the next logical step and built their own iPhone 6 with them. Something about the audaciousness of the project seems more exciting than finding a iPhone 4 in a Redwood City bar.
