As we here at MacAddict get ready for our annual end-o-year week off (yeah, our entire company is on paid vacation the full week between Christmas and New Years -- thanks, boss!), it's a good time to look ahead at what 2007 might bring. Will it be the much-rumored iPhone? How about new Apple laptops that use Intel's Robson NAND technology rather than Samsung's hybrid hard drives to boot in a flash? (Sorry, we couldn't resist the pun...) Maybe 2007 will be the year in which IT managers wise up and move to Mac rather than suffering through "upgrading" to Vista. (After all, Mac sales are on the upswing in relation to PC's sluggish sales.) Maybe we'll learn to decipher Adobe's new icon scheme. Or maybe Mac OS X Leopard's resolution-independent display technology will take the world by storm. The there's the chance that Apple will save the flat-panel TV industry. Possibly the party will finally be over at that Russian music-download site, AllOfMP3.com. And then there's the chance that investors will finally wise up about Google. Maybe we'll all be suffering from RSI due to our addiction to gadgets -- or, for that matter, due to our addiction to porn. In any case, happy holidays, take it easy at your company's holiday party, and -- if we're not too busy writing about what's announced at Steve's January 9th Keynote -- we'll see you at one of the many parties at the upcoming Expo. (Thanks for the annual list, Ilene!)
