Leopard lurking: The developers community says that Leopard (a.k.a. Mac OS 10.5) is nearing gold master. This means that Apple could make its October shipping deadline.
iPhone 1.1.1 update: Apple has released iPhone update 1.1.1. The update is over 150MB, and Apple warns that hacked iPhones may be rendered inoperable. Apple has a video of the new iPhone features, which include the iTunes WiFi Store, louder volumes, support for TV out, and more.
iLife '08 updates: As we reported earlier, Apple has released updates to iLife'08. You can get the updates by running Software Update (Apple Menu > Software Update).
Apple ecards: Apple has filed a patent for an ecard service. With the service, multiple users can sign an ecard. Multiple users can also pitch in on a gift purchased online.
French iPhone put on hold: It appears that the reports of a France Telecom/Apple deal may have been premature. The word now is that the two companies still need to hash things out.
