The missing iChat hologram effect has been resurrected from an early Leopard build.

While the effect isn't as stunning as what was seen at the Apple Developers Conference, it is a fun ghosting effect reminiscent of our favorite Sci-Fi movie.

Download the .qtz file, which is allegedly from an early Leopard build, install it in your /Library/Compositions folder, restart iChat and you too can begin begging for Jedi Master help over the internet.
