13" displays ordered by Apple: According to industry sources, Apple has placed orders for 13.3" LED backlight units (BLUs) from Kenmos Technology and Nano Electro-Optical Technology. Allegedly Apple is expected to order 90,000 units from Nano-Op in December.

The Ultra-Portable MacBook (Pro) is looking more like a reality everyday.

No Chinese iPhone Yet: China Unicom has confirmed that they haven't begun talks with Apple to bring the iPhone to the most populous nation in the world. Although, the telecom has stated that it is open to working with the iPhone maker after talks have reportedly broken down between Apple and China Mobile Ltd. to offer the iPhone in China.

Stop or I'll shuffle: Following in the footsteps of higher education, the New York Police Department is handing out iPods fully loaded with instructional material to new recruits.
