Yes. A vanity ringtone. For free? Believe it.

Hack attack: Some hacks are just inevitable. Because the function of the form screams out for them and nothing did this quite as much as the iPhone as HD camcorder. Which, apparently, has now gone beyond the couch potato “wouldn’t it be cool?” phase to reality. Mmmmmmm.

Mac Expo rumors and rumors of rumors: In an attempt to maybe gin up what we’re suspecting is going to be a very staid Mac Expo, the rumor drums are thumping. Yes, yes, we’ve heard about the subnotebook, The Beatles catalog finally making an appearance. But what about the tablet? The iCar? Mini-iphones? Or our personal fav: the iTime-Space Accelerator Rifle?

Ive pondered as new Steve Jobsian model: Nothing, no one and nobody lasts forever. A truism if we ever heard one and usually only a real concern when that someone is felt, true or not, to be irreplaceable. Well, right now, people are talking about Jonathan Ive which is a fairly compelling pick.
