MacBook and MacBook Pro Updated

Apple released upgraded MacBook and MacBook Pros this morning. The MacBook Pro can now pinch, roate, swipe and zoom into your heart with its nifty Multi-Touch trackpad.

 

The MacBook starts at $1099 and is equipped with:

 

  • 2.1GHz or 2.4GHz Penryn Intel Core 2 Duo processors
  • Supports up to 4GB of RAM
  • 120GB, 160GB and 250GB hard drives for the entry level, mid-level and black MacBook respectively.

 

The MacBook Pro starts at $1999 and brings with it:

 

  • 2.4GHz, 2.5GHz and 2.6GHz Penryn Intel Core 2 Duo processors. The latter two have 6MB of L2 cache.
  • NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT graphics processor with 256MB of GDDR3 memory for the 2.4GHz model and 512MB of GDDR3 memory for the 2.5GHz and 2.6GHz models
  • Supports up to 4GB of RAM
  • Multi-Touch trackpad

 

Both machines are shipping now.
